I compose music for pictures. I’m driven by the emotional alchemy that occurs when music and image come together. I combine and balance musical ingredients to evoke atmosphere, feeling and narrative.
My broad musical background has provided me the tools to create high-end music of sophistication and depth, emotional intensity and the ability to strike the right tone.
My music can be heard in TV, film, advertising and motion picture trailers around the world.
Working from my studio in the beautiful UK spa town of Harrogate, North Yorkshire, I collaborate with major publishers BMG, Universal Music, Warner Chappell and several independent publishers including Evolving Sound, Big Screen Music, Boost Music.
I composed the score to the award-winning Harry Birrell Presents Films of Love and War, the follow-up BBC production Films of Scotland and the beautiful underwater documentary feature film Angel Azul.
I have created music for brands such as LG, Glencore and Interpolis as well as providing additional music for hundreds of other TV productions such as Miracle Workers, trailers for Tenet and Game of Thrones, the opening ceremony of the Rio Olympics and multiple live WWE events.
